Adélaïde was born about 0968. Adélaïde's father was Geoffroi Ier Grisegonelle D'anjou and her mother was Adélaïs De Vermandois. Her paternal grandparents were Foulques II Le Bon D'anjou and Gerberge Du Maine; her maternal grandparents were Robert Ier De Vermandois and Adélaïde Ou Wéra De Chalon. She had a brother and two sisters, named Foulques III Nerra, Ermengarde and Gerberge. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died in 1047.-
