Domingos Da Costa

Domingos Da was born in Espírito Santo Da Vila Nova, Ilha Terceira (Açores) and his baptism took place there on November 16th, 1597.  Domingos Da's father was Manuel Álvares and his mother was Ana Da Costa.  His paternal grandparents were Cosme Gonçalves and Maria Álvares; his maternal grandparents were Gaspar Gonçalves and Maria Da Costa.  He was an only child.

‌Domingos Da and Izabel were married in a religious ceremony on February 8th, 1632 in Sta Cruz Da Vila Da Praia, Ilha Terceira (Açores).  They had two sons and two daughters, named Manuel Da, Diogo, Catarina and Maria Da.
