Maria Josefa Araujo Y San Antonio

Maria Josefa was born in 1778 in San Carlos, Maldonado, Uruguay.  Maria Josefa's father was Manuel Araujo and her mother was Laureana De San Antonio. She had four brothers and a sister, named Manuel, Joaquâin, Felipe Juan, Narciso and Juana Antonia.  She was the second youngest of the six children.

‌Maria Josefa and Benito were married in a religious ceremony in 1796 in San Carlos, Maldonado, Uruguay.
