Louis I Of was born in August 0778 in Casseneuil, France.1   Louis I Of's father was Charlemagne Martel King Of Franks and his mother was Hildegarde Of Vinzgau.  His paternal grandparents were Pepin III "The Short" Martel Rey De Los Franks and Bertrada II Of Laon Contess Of; his maternal grandfather was Gerold. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Charles The Younger, Pippin (Carloman), Pepin I Of, Lothar, Rotrud, Adelaide, Bertha, Bertha, Gisela and Hildegard.  He died in Near Ingelheim, Rhinehessen, Hesse.1

‌Louis I Of and Irmengard Of were married in a religious ceremony in 0798.1   They had three sons and five daughters, named Lothaire I, Pepin I Of, Louis II The German,, Hildegard, Hildegard, Adelaide, Matilda and Adelaide.
