Alfonso VI "El Bravo" was born in 1030 in Castilla O Leon?, España and his baptism took place in 1030 in Leon, España.1 Alfonso VI "El Bravo"'s father was Ferdinand Sanchez King Of León and his mother was Sancia De Leon. His paternal grandparents were Sancho Garcés King Of Pamplona and Sancha De Aybar ( Munia Mayor); his maternal grandparents were Alfonso V De Leon and Elvire De Melanda. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Afonso VI, Sancho II "El Fuerte", Garcia, Elvira and Urraca. He died at the age of 79 on June 29th, 1109.1 General Notes
