Nellie Louisa was born on August 14th, 1887.1 Nellie Louisa's father was Abraham Jefferson Wells and her mother was Louisa Ione French. Her paternal grandparents were Uriah Wells and Susannah Carlock. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John Henry, Elvie Neil, Fred, Iver Paul, Jennie Ethel, Winona and Mary Susan. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.1 -
