Joseph C Schaffer 
Joseph C was born about 1833.1 Joseph C's father was John Schaffer and his mother was Hannah Varner. His maternal grandparents were John Varner and Sarah Moore. He had four brothers and a sister, named John Varner, George S, Isaac D., Daniel W. and Phoeba Ann. He was the second oldest of the six children.
