Zerviah Sands 
Zerviah was born about 1714 in Sands Point, Cowneck, Nassau, NY.1 Zerviah's father was James Sands and her mother was Mary Cornell. Her maternal grandparents were John Cornell and Mary Russell. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Othniel, James, Abijah, John, Mary, Sarah, Mary, Bathsheba and Jerusha. She was the second youngest of the ten children.-
