John Calvin Russell 
John Calvin was born on June 7th, 1850 in Wilgus, Mason Township, Lawrence County Ohio.1 John Calvin's father was Sanders Russell and his mother was Mary Brammer. His paternal grandparents were John Russell and Hannah "Patience" Rankin; his maternal grandparents were James Brammer and Sarah Henderson Simmons. He had a brother and six sisters, named William Alonzo, Rachel, Sarah Jane, Rosina, Virginia, Martha Ellen and Ida May. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Sanders, James F, Hetty Ann, Eliza P and Victoria. He died at the age of 58 on February 15th, 1909.1 -
