Nicholas Muse

Nicholas was born in 1685 in Wash. Parish, Westmoreland, Virginia.¹ Nicholas' father was John Muse (Mewes) and his mother was Catherine (Lewis) Moss. His paternal grandparents were Edward Mewes and Margery Aucocke. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Jane, Ann and Mary. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 31 in 1716.¹
