Daniel Lawton 
Daniel was born in 1639 in Portsmouth, Newport, R I.1 Daniel's father was Thomas Lawton and his mother was Elizabeth Salisbury. His paternal grandparents were George Lawton and Isbell Smith; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Salisbury and Mrs. Salisbury. He had a brother and four sisters, named Isaac, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Ann and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on June 28th, 1719 in Portsmouth, Newport, R I. He was buried in June 1719.1 1 -
