David Hubbard 
David was born on February 19th, 1792. David's father was Thomas Mortimer Hubbard and his mother was Mary Blakeley Swann. His maternal grandfather was Thomas Swann. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Green Kirk, Thomas, Vincent, Stephen, James, Elizabeth, Betsey, Margaret Elizabeth and Catherine. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.General Notes
David served as Congressman from Alabama and was the first Confedeerate Commissioner of Indian Affairs. During the War of 1812, he served as a Major.
