Thomas J Howell

Thomas J was born on August 30th, 1820.¹   Thomas J's father was Abner Y Howell and his mother was Phoebe D Ingram.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Ingram and Jemima Louise Watkins. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Samuel P, Presley Nelms, William Rufus, Brackett Owen, Winifred Eugenia, Eliza N, Rebecca Helen, Margaret A "Maggie", Emma Dean and J Alice.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 43 in 1863 in Died in Service.¹
