John Wayne Hood 
John Wayne was born on December 8th, 1878 in Commerce, Texas.1 John Wayne's father was James Wilson Zachary Lumpkin Hood and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth McDaniel. His paternal grandparents were John D Hood and Jennetie T Fair McElmore; his maternal grandparents were John McDaniel and Nancy Crow. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James Clark, William A., Boss Douglas, Russel Theryle, Willie May, Nellie Aver, Mary Ethyle and Jeanettie Fair. He died at the age of 92 in 1970.1 -
