Thomas Elder 
Thomas was born in 1827.1 Thomas' father was James Elder and his mother was Sarah Rinard. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Rinard and Mary Young. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John E, James, Henry, Margaret, Elisabeth, Mary, Hester A, Sarah, Matilda and Isabella. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
