Sela Dillard 
Sela was born on January 13th, 1808 in , , South Carolina.1 Sela's father was James Dillard and her mother was Sarah Bryant. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Dillard and Pricilla Wilkens. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Cullen, Colden, James, Thomas, Joseph, Josephus, Nancy, Dorcus Elizabeth, Nancy Ann, Mary, Sarah M. and Martha. She died at the age of 74 on August 1st, 1882. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Pontotoc, Pontotoc, Mississippi.1 General Notes
While Sela Dillard Green appears in the 1860 Mississippi with her husband William, she does not appear with him in the 1850 South Carolina Census, unless she is entered out of sequence and her is the illegible name second from the last of the list of people in the household.
There are other Dillards who married Greens in Spartanburg, South Carolina: Unknown Dillard m. Adaline Green, dtr. of James Green, probate in 1889; J. A. Dillard m. Eliza Ferguson, probate in 1855.
In addition, there severa Dillards bureid in Spartanburg, South Carolina but all appear to have been born in 1850 or later and would, therefore, not be ancestors of Sela Dillard.
They had three sons and seven daughters, named Winsberry, Calloway, William Smith, Nancy, Mary, Matilda, Elizabeth, Margaret, Katy and Sallie.

Mary Green
Mary was born on January 4th, 1840.1 She died at the age of 44 on November 24th, 1884 in Tupelo, Mississippi.1
Winsberry Green
Winsberry was born on January 9th, 1842 in ,Spartanburg, SC.1 He died due to Civil War Casualty at the age of 19 on October 24th, 1861 in ,Hopkinsville,,Kentucky.1
Margaret Green
Margaret was born on May 22nd, 1851. She died at the age of 94 on July 23rd, 1945. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Pontotoc, Pontotoc, Mississippi.
