William Brammer 
William was born on September 16th, 1796 in Of, Patrick County, Virginia.1 William's father was Edward (Edmund) Brammer and his mother was Mary Ann Lee. His paternal grandparents were John L Brammer and Mary Burgess; his maternal grandparents were John Lee and Sarah. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Henry, Jesse, Edmund, Richard, Artametta and Anna. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
