Jacques Remy 
Jacques was born in 1545 in France. Jacques' father was George Remy and his mother was Beatrix De Rosires. His paternal grandparents were Didier Remy and Marchioness De Buscancy. He was an only child. He died at the age of 41 in 1586 in Ivoy,Ardennes,France.General Notes
DEATH: Note: Due to his religious faith, Jacques as well as his son Matthais, were murderedby Catholic Zealots.
Note: Fled to Germany as a Huguenot in 1586 and placed himself under the protection of the Prince of Neuwied in a small town, Greenhausen on the Rhine. He is the uncle of the Jacques that migrated to America. Jacques engaged in the manufacture of pottery, making millions of large mineral water jugs. Later, he became an iron founder. The foundry is still in operation under management of descendants (As reported in the book "Chronology of the French family of Remy in France" written in 1941.)

‌Jacques and Mary Magdalene were married in a religious ceremony in Ivory,France. They had three sons named Pierre, Pierre and Matthias.

Pierre was born in 1600 in Lorraine,France. He died at the age of 70 in 1670 in Picardy,France.
