His paternal grandparents were William Nickle and UNKNOWN Wilson. He had six brothers and six sisters, named James, Andrew, William III, Wilson, Daniel Dobbin, James, Sarah\Sally, Elizabeth, Hannah, Jane, Sarah and Mary Nancy. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named James, Andrew, William III, Wilson, John, Daniel Dobbin, James, Sarah\Sally, Elizabeth, Hannah, Jane, Sarah and Mary Nancy. He died at the age of 59 on December 15th, 1875 in Nickleville,Venango County,PA.-
