Agnes Kneifl 
Agnes was born on July 12th, 1837 in Baden bei Wien,Niederoestereich,AUSTRIA. Agnes' father was Jakob Knifle and her mother was Theresia Kurz. She had four brothers named Thomas, Frank, Martin and Phillip. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 93 on August 12th, 1930 in Hartington,Cedar,NE,USA.General Notes

I am Judy (Kneifl) Schrader. I would think that our names come from the same source despite the difference in the spelling at the end. The
Kneifl family that I belong to apparently originated in Czechoslovakia but was living in Baden, Austria at the time they came to the United
States (1850's). The family, consisting of the parents, Jacob and Theresa Kneifl and their six children, Thomas, Martin, Philip,Frank, Agnes,
and Maria went to LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Martin, Philip, and Agnes (Schieffer) eventually found their way to Dixon and Cedar Counties in
northeast Nebraska.
Agnes and Casper were married in a religious ceremony in 1862 in St. Joseph Ridge,WI. They had four sons and three daughters, named Peter, John, Phillip, Jacob, Theresia Mary, Mary and Johanna.

Johanna was born on September 27th, 1878 in St. Helena,Cedar Co.,NE,USA. She died at the age of 92 in 1970 in Yankton,SD.
