Joan was born about 1441 in Ravensworth,Yorkshire,ENGLAND. Joan's father was William FitzHugh and her mother was Margaret Willoughby. Her paternal grandparents were Henry FitzHugh and Elizabeth Grey; her maternal grandparents were William Willoughby and Lucy Le Strange. She had a brother and six sisters, named Henry, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Lora, Margery, Maud and Lucy. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died before 1488.-
