John Parke was born in 1753 in Eltham Plantation,Yorktown,New Kent Co.,VA. John Parke's father was Daniel Park Custis and his mother was Martha Dandridge. He had two sisters named Frances Park and Martha Parke "Patsy". He was the second oldest of the three children.
