John Lee was born in 1754 in New Kent Co. Va.. John Lee's father was Henry Crittenden and his mother was Margaret Butler. His paternal grandparents were Henry Crittenden and Frances Upshaw; his maternal grandparents were John Butler and Agnes Hackley. He had a half-brother named John Lee. He died at the age of 52 in 1806 in KY.General Notes
