Francois Chartier 
Francois was born on October 19th, 1756 in ST. CHARLES,QUEBEC PROV,Canada.1 Francois' father was Jean-Baptiste Chartier and his mother was Marie Angelique Roy. His paternal grandparents were Jean-Joseph Chartier and Marie Courtemanche; his maternal grandparents were Augustin Roy and Marie Josèphte Thibi. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Antoine-Marie, Alexis-Pierre, Augustin-Charles, Joseph, Jean-Baptiste, Marie-Archange, Angelique, Elisabeth, Marie-Victoire and Marie-Louise. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.1 -
