Robert was born in 1015 in Avranches,Normandy,FRANCE. Robert's father was Toustien , Viscount d'Avranches Lord Heism Le Goz and his mother was Judith De Montandlier. His paternal grandfather was Ansfred II Onfror Goz. He had two brothers named Humphrey De Tillieul and Richard Le Goz , Vicomte D'Avranches. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 56 in 1071.-
