Claude Babin 
Claude was born in 1698 in Grand Pre.1 Claude's father was Charles Babin and his mother was Madeleine Richard. His paternal grandparents were Antoine Babin and Marie Mercier; his maternal grandparents were Michel Richard and Madeleine Blanchard. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Rene, Pierre, Jean, Joseph, Charles, Anne, Marguerite, Marie, Madeleine and Isabelle. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died in by 1767.1 -
