Nicholas was born before 1258 in Heleigh,Staffordshire,ENGLAND. Nicholas' father was James Audley and his mother was Ela Longspee. His paternal grandparents were Henry Audley and Bertred De Mainwaring; his maternal grandparents were William II De Longspee and Idoine , Countess of Salisbury De Camville. He had four brothers and a sister, named James, Henry, William, Hugh and Joan. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named Henry and Alan. He died on August 28th, 1299.-
