Richard Henry Newton 
Richard Henry was born on January 28th, 1858 in Madison Co., Kentucky. Richard Henry's father was William H. Newton and his mother was Amanda Todd. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Newton and Kitturah Poates; his maternal grandparents were Joel Elias "Uncle Joel" Todd and Nancy Ruth Lee. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joel Glover, Valentine Hudson, William Walter and Mary Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died about 1875.-
