Joseph Griswold 
Joseph was born on September 26th, 1690 in Killingworth (now Clinton) Middlesex Co., Connecticut. Joseph's father was John Griswold and his mother was Bathsheba North. His paternal grandparents were Edward Griswold and Margaret Hicks; his maternal grandparents were Thomas North and Mary Price. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Benjamin, Daniel, Walter, John, Dorothy, Bathsheba, Lucy, Martha, Dorothy and Martha. He died at the age of 80 on April 18th, 1771 in Guilford, Connecticut.General Notes
Joseph and his brother Benjamin were twins.
