Francis Griswold 
Francis was born in 1629 in Kenilworth, Warwick, England. Francis' father was Edward Griswold and his mother was Margaret Hicks. His paternal grandparents were George Greswold and Dousabel Leigh. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Joseph, Samuel, George, John, Sarah, Lydia, Mary, Anna and Deborah. He died at the age of 42 in October 1671 in Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut.General Notes
Francis was one of the orginal settlers at Norwich, New London Co., CT in 1653, where he held public offices and become a Lt. of the Train Band.
