Louis IX (St. Louis) Capet of was born on March 25th, 1214. Louis IX (St. Louis) Capet of's father was Louis VIII "the Lion" of France and his mother was Blanca of Castile. His paternal grandparents were Phillipe II "Augustus" Capet of France and Isabelle of Hainault. He was an only child. He died at the age of 56 on August 25th, 1270 in Tunis, North Africa.-
