Mary Efland 
Mary was born in 1745 in Alamance, North Carolina. Mary's father was Peter Efland and her mother was Catherine "Catey" Pickard. Her paternal grandfather was Johann David Efland; her maternal grandmother was Margaret "Peggy" Whatley. She had a sister named Sarah. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 89 in 1834 in Knox Co., Tennessee.-
