His paternal grandparents were Richard "Sans Peur" Duke of Normandy and Gonnor De Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan Duke of Bretagne and Ermangarde D'Anjou. He had a brother named Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke Of. He was the younger of the two children. He died on August 6th, 1028.-
