Alan II La was born about 1205 in Of, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, England and his baptism took place in Of, North Molton, Devonshire, England.1 Alan II La's father was Roger la ZOUCHE and his mother was Margaret le (Zouche). His paternal grandparents were Alan la ZOUCHE and Alice (Adelicia. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Eudo (Eon) la, William la, Eudes la, Lora la and Alice la.
