Hester Wood 
Hester was born on November 15th, 1784 in Rowan County, NC.1 Hester's father was Stephen Wood and her mother was Preshus RILEY. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Bennet, Amon, Stephen, Amma, Betsey, Sally, Macksey, Susannah and Nancy. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
