Robert Warren 
Robert was born in 1834 in Virginia. Robert's father was POWELL Warren and his mother was Polly Newmon. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Warren and Lewsey Powell. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Bassett, Wellington, Jefferson, Joel, Richard, Susan, Fanny, Ann and Sally. He died due to Robert died in 1892 as a result of a coal mining accident in Pittsburg or East B at the age of 58 in 1892 in Laurel County, Kentucky.General Notes

The Bassett is my grandfather. He was a coal miner and died around
1942 and is buried in Pineville, Ky. Around 1910, he moved to
Harlan County, Ky and worked in coal mines between there and Evarts,
Ky. He was attributed with opening several mines in that area. I
don't have any documentation to that fact. Sophia (Wood) is the
daughter of John Wood. I do not know why he was in Indiana for her
to be born there. John Wood is mentioned in the History of Laurel
County and supposedly was a large land owner there. I will send you
what I know about Bassett and his family soon. Hope this helps.
