Jane was born in 1752 in Of, Goochland, Virginia.1 Jane's father was John WOODSON and her mother was Dorothea RANDOLPH. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah WOODSON and Mary ROYALL. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Josiah, Isaih Or Isham, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Susannah, Martha, Judith, Lucy, Sarah and Nannie. She was the oldest of the twelve children.-
