Nicholas de Verdon 
Nicholas de was born about 1174 in of Alton, Staffordshire.1 Nicholas de's father was Bertram de Verdon and his mother was Roesia de Verdon. His paternal grandparents were Norman de Verdon and Lasceline de Clinton. He had five brothers and a sister, named Bertram de, Robert de, Thomas de, Walter de, William de and Lesceline de. He died in April 1232.1 General Notes
