Robert Taylor 
Robert was born on November 7th, 1601 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.1 Robert's father was Thomas Taylor and his mother was Margaret Swinderby. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Taylor and Elizabeth Burwell; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Swinderly and Andrew Mrs Swinderly. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Richard, Margaret, Jane and Ann. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 98 in 1699 in ,Essex, Virginia.1 -
