Catharine Strother

Catharine was born about 1606 in Kirknew, Northumberland, England.¹ Catharine's father was Lancelot Strother and her mother was Eleanor Conyers. Her paternal grandparents were William Strother and Jane Selby; her maternal grandfather was John Conyers. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Strother, John, William, Lancelot, Anne or Agnes, Elizabeth, Jane, Eleanor and Mary. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
