Roger Savage

Roger was born about 1396 in of Clifton, Cheshire, England.¹ Roger's father was John Savage and his mother was Maud or Matilda de Swynnerton. His paternal grandparents were John Savage and Margaret Danyers; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Swynnerton and Elizabeth BEKE. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named William Arnold, George, John, Maude, Alice, Blanch, Margaret, Beatrice, Ann, Parnella, Margery and Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.
