Robert was born about 1754 in ,,Virginia.1 Robert's father was Exelheath PAGE and his mother was CHRISTIAN. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, William Byrd, James, Benjamin, Joseph, Betty and Mary. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died after 1817 in Woodruff, Spartanburg Co., South Carolina. He was buried in Bap Cem Woodruff, Spartanburg Co., South Carolina.1 1 General Notes
