James R. POWELL

James R. was born on December 19th, 1831.¹   James R.'s father was Charles POWELL and his mother was Susan May.  His maternal grandfather was John May. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John L., Samuel G., William T., Nelson P., Chester P., Azaritan M., Ferris H., Elizabeth Ann, Hilda J. and Mary C..  He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William T., James, Nelson P., Charles, Elizabeth A., Christine, Elizabeth C. and Male.  He died at the age of 59 on September 5th, 1891.¹
