Alta Melvin POWELL

Alta Melvin was born on May 29th, 1882.¹   Alta Melvin's father was Andrew Jackson POWELL and her mother was Nancy Melvin.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Melvin and Nancy Melvin. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, GIBSON Tutt, Lee Edgar, Lee Edgar, Sarah Catherine, Margaret Jane, Eva Lee, Lucita Temple and Clara May.  She was the youngest of the ten children.
