Hugh de Montgomerie 
Hugh de was born in 1052 in of Montgomery, Wales.1 Hugh de's father was Roger II de Montgomerie and his mother was Mabel de Alenon. His paternal grandparents were Hugh de Montgomerie and Josceline de Pont-Audemer; his maternal grandparents were William II Talvas and Hildeburg de Alenon. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert de, Roger Poitevin de, Philip de, Arnulf de, Amicia de, Matilda de, Sybil de, Emma de and Mabel de. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 51 in July 1103.1 General Notes
