William le Meschyn de was born about 1156 in Of Dunster, Somerset, Eng.1 William le Meschyn de's father was William de Mohun and his mother was Godehold (de Mohun). His paternal grandparents were William II de Mohun and Agnes de Gant. He was an only child. He died in October 1193. He was buried in Burton Priory.1 1 General Notes
