Bernard I de la was born in 1015 in of LaMarche, Normandy, France.1 Bernard I de la's father was Bernard I la Marche and her mother was Amelia de Aulnay. Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert I la Marche and Almode de Limoges; her maternal grandparents were Geraud de Montignac and Nonia de Granol. She had a brother and three sisters, named Adalbert III la, Agnes de la, Lucia de la and Rangarde de la. She died at the age of 60 on November 17th, 1075.1 General Notes
