Mary Ann was born about 1756 in ,,VA.1 Mary Ann's father was Thomas MORTON and her mother was Cicily Katherine MOORE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Morton and Elizabeth WOODSON. She had five brothers and two sisters, named George, Thomas, Samuel, Joseph, Hezekiah, Agnes and Susanna. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
