Adeliz de was born about 1103 in Louvain, Belgium.1 Adeliz de's father was Gottfried I von Lowen and her mother was Ide de Namuer. Her paternal grandparents were Henry II de Louvain and Adelaide von Betuwe; her maternal grandparents were Albert III de Namuer and Ida (Of Saxony) Relinde. She had a brother named Godfrey II de. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named Joscelin de. She died on April 23rd, 1151 in Affligem Abbey, Flanders, France.1 General Notes
