Stephen Longespe 
Stephen was born in 1216 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1 Stephen's father was William Longespear and his mother was Ela FitzPatrick. His maternal grandparents were William de Evereux FitzPatrick and Alianor de Vitrei. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William II, Richard, Nicholas, Isabel, Petronilla, Ela, Ida and Lora. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 44 in 1260 in Sutton, Northamptonshire.1 General Notes
